White fungus??

I apologise for the length of the post but please persevere and help my newt Vladamir.

My biggest C. Orientalis has tiny white dots clustered under his eyes and on the top of his head and he is lighter in colour then the rest of his tankmates. He is eating and swimming and is otherwise fine.

I suspect this to be fungus. I have read that i should give a salt bath.

Could someone please give me clear instructions on how to do this. Preferably someone who has done it before as I obviously do not want to harm the newt.

P.S. Do I need to buy a special kind of salt??

Thank you very much for any help,

Paul

it does sound like fungus, but i dont know if you should give it a salt bath some one else will have to tell you that.
best of luck.

Are these white dots fluffy? If not, I wouldn't suspect fungus. Animals with fungus rarely eat too. Are these things like tiny warts with little tiny white "peaks"? If so, they're probably part of his skin and not a disease, just a slight qwerk unique to this newt. If you could post a photo on the forums here that would be perfect.
