Hi everyone. Both of my axolotls (length~12 cm) have these white blotches on their heads. Is this an infection? They are currrently kept in a 14l tub, because I've got them as a gift and their aquarium (60l) hasn't arrived yet. Water temperature is about 18 degrees C (65 F), their appetite is quite good, I'm feeding them on bloodworm and sinking pellets. Water is changed regularly (50% every three days).

It looks fine to me..I am looking forward to seeing more about your new additions.

The white spots you're seeing are actually the lobes of the skull/brain of the axolotl. Because leucistics have such translucent skin when they're younger, you can see their internal bits much easier than you would think.
