I have been researching African Clawed Frogs and am debating getting one, However I do have an axolotl and if I have two different tank sizes I was wondering who would need the bigger tank.

Axolotls and clawed frogs are both active creatures but in very different ways and both do best in quite large tanks. If you already have an axolotl you will know that they like roaming about exploring, swimming to the surface for air and looking for food etc, clawed frogs do these things also but about 10 times faster so if pushed i'd say the clawed frog would need the biggest tank but neither do well in a small aquarium.
hope this helps!

We are thinking we will get two 20 longs. Thats what my axolotl has now and I love it.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
