My axies laid eggs for the first time last night. I'm would like to start a brine shrimp
hatchery similar to the ones I've seen on this site with the 2 liter soda bottles. Does anyone know a good source to buy baby brine shrimp from?
All help would be greatly appretiated.

Brine Shrimp Direct (google them) is very reliable. Be careful about eBay; I got some there once, but they were old eggs and didn't hatch. Be sure the seller is someone who sells them frequently.

Did you check the local fish stores? Usually PetSmart or Petco have eggs. You won't need a 10 pound box of these things - a little goes a long way here. The fresher the eggs are the better they hatch so buying the smaller vials of eggs is a good idea. I used an eighth of a teaspoon per batch and I still have lots of eggs left over - remember these larvae don't eat BBS for very long before you move on to bigger and better things.

Thanks, my petsmart doesnt carry them but I got a small vile of decapsulated brine shrimp from brine shrimp direct which seems like it will last me a ling time
