Where to find a Blue Spotted Salamander

I am looking at creating a Paludarium and am looking for a blue spotted salamander. The little guys are quite adorable and I would love to feature them in my setup. The only problem is I can't find any. Does anyone know where I can order some or buy a couple from a breeder or the like?

(btw is it okay to mix the blue spotted with a tiger salamander? I read somewhere they can breed together...)

First of all. I dont think there are any breeders of blue spotted salamanders(a. laterale) in the U.S. I am going to try this fall. You can collect a couple if they are in your area and it's legal. You cant keep them with a tiger salamander because they will become a snack for your tiger. I am unsure of tigers and a. laterale inbreeding but it is unlikely.

i don't know if tigers can breed with blue-spotted sals, it seems unlikely to me as the blue-spotteds tend to be smaller than your average tiger sal, it would be fascinateing to see the results however,
im not sure where you are at (where ya living) so i can't really say whether or not you could try and collect a wild specimen or if there are any local breeders.

if you could provide that info im sure a member will be able to help you mor efficiently.

also i would not advise that a tiger be kept with a blue spot for the simple risks of keeping a smaller sal with a larger sal (being eaten, being out competed for food, disease risks, etc).

Iunno wikipedia said they could breed. But everyone knows how reliable that is lol.
