Where to feed my CFBN

Currently I'm just dumping the worms into the water. I still haven't had a proper setup yet, waiting to get the new terrarium tomorrow as I just got the newts. Do you put the worms into a plate? Into the water? On land? Thanks

My CFBNs are stubborn and like living on land. I feed them worm pieces on a flat rock in their terrarium. I also feed them small crickets that basically run around until the newts trap them in the lichen. In the case of my aquatic newts, I either feed them with tongs or drop the food into the water, depending on their preference. I don't know why I let them order me around ;].

LMBO! Maybe someone should study Roger and his newts for the possibility of mind control from the newts!

Thats funny stuff Roger!

Mine are more aquatic, so I embedded a shallow plate in the gravel to feed them bloodworms. Just that they haven't discovered it, and there are worms floating off to nowhere. Any other ideas? I don't want to soil my water as I don't have a filter.
Thanks for the answers

Hey everyone, just want a little advice. Its 55 - 60 celcius in my Salamanders tank. Hes curled up and tyring ti bury himself, Im assuming hes too cold. I was wondering if he would benefit from a heated rock cave (since he LOVES his cave) that I could set on low? I NEVER see him curled up and trying to bury himself unless his tank sits at 63 degrees celcius or lower. So I am assuming hes a little uncomfortable.

He also seems a little sluggish, again, assuming hes cold. Having heating trouble with the new house right now. What do we think? Was thinking of grabbing this for him since its got very low, medium, and higher medium heat settings that exude heat downward inside the rock cave but ALSO exudes it UPWARDS outside of the rock cave, effectively keeping the tank itself a little warm. Seems like it miiiight be a little small for him though, my guy is about 7 inches from tip of his nose tothe tip of his tail.
