I'm picking up my axolotl baby on Monday. I have a cycled 10 gallon tank ready for it, but I'm worried it might be too big? The baby is a little over 3cm long. Should I set up a smaller container to house it in until it's bigger? Or will it be okay in the 10 gallon?
The 10 gallon has a sponge filter, a few large rocks, a silk plant, and a small hide. The bottom is bare (no substrate).
Thanks! And Hi! I'm new to the forum.![Love  ](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
