I have marbled sallies. The largest is 6cm nose to base of tail / 10cm nose to tail and the smallest is about an inch smaller.
I was told to feed then small crickets until they are older. I am not sure if they are ready for earthworms but surely if I chopped them up then they could manage smaller pieces?
Any advice?
Thanks

They are ready for bits of worms as soon as they morph and become terrestrial. Just cut the worms no longer than the width of the salamanders head and they'll have no problems eating it. At first, it may be easier to stick a pile of cut worms on a small piece of paper towel so that the sals will find them easier.
