When to move babies in to a full tank?

Hello,
I've never had axolotls from a really young age before. I haven't yet taken these babies home as my tank I have set up for them hasn't finished cycling, and won't be for a few weeks yet. In my very niave opinion they look far to small to go in to a tank this size as I don't think they would find their food!
What age and size is recommended for them to go in to a bigger tank?
Also how would I introduce them carefully?
