I received my 3 juvenile sals Thursday morning (10/10). Two of them look very comfortable (see-through pre-dug burrows) and I've seen one roaming around here and there. When should I try to feed them? I dangled a worm in front of one's face for 10 mins and he wasn't interested. Should I dig them all up and try again? I'm afraid I am going to stress them out but I don't know when they last ate! Any suggestions??

Try cut-up pieces of night crawlers, wax worms or dusted crickets...they may take to different foods. Juvies should be feed several times per week. Try feeding at night as they are by nature, nocturnal feeders.

I feed my juvenile earthworms (sometimes with calcium dust) 3 or 4 times a week
