Hey all i have 25 axolotl babies between 6 days and 4 days old
they r in half an inch of spring water in a 2 quart plastic rubbermaid tray
when can i switch to dechlorinated tap water?? i was thinking when front legs grew but i'm not sure

I have never heard this before. I alwayyss use dechlorinated tap water for anything axolotl related. Bottled spring water is not hard enough in most cases for an axolotl, so unless your tap water is abnormally hard or full of ammonia then there should be no issues

I agree. I don't know why people are so obsessed with bottled water. In many cases, it's tap water put into a plastic bottle, which just adds plasticisers and chemicals to the water.
