When can a Axolotl eat pellets?

Depends on the size of the pellets. I'm fond of my sturgeon pellets. Nice and small. I can even feed C.e.ensicaude with them, which aren't known for their capacity to tackle large food items.
 
So the answer is: "As soon as the pellets fits on their throat" !? It makes sense. Thank you.

Your sturgeon pellets are homemade, or some commercial brand?
