Whats the signs of breeding?

ive always believed that rap was a male has it had a tiny bump between the legs. but the new axie i got has a way bigger bump, and now over the past 24 hours rap's tummy has really rounded out. im starting to think that he is a she and is developing eggs? rap has been sitting on top of the floating weeds for about 3 hours now.

is there any sign of sperm in the tank?. when my axies bred i could see a couple of sperm cones around the tank, it didnt take long for the female to lay the eggs.
