I keep seeing these tiny jumping/darting insects clinging to the glass of my aquarium, I assumed they were newly hatched daphnia or something since I was keeping daphnia but I'm looking for confirmation. I'm at work currently so I'll attach a ms-paint drawing of what i'm seeing:

I can take a pic when I get home but they're extremely small, like half of a milimeter to 1 millimeter.
I do have many live plants but they only thing i've seen in the aquarium are snails and daphnia that were probably sucked up by the fluval.

Thanks in advance folks.

Copepod - the one you've drawn is a female with twin egg sacs at the rear.

You may be right, I'll post a pic when I get home. Do copepods dart around? These things jump around like fleas. And they all have the back two circles (egg sacks) from what I can tell.

Yep, copepods, possibly Cyclops sp. They are interesting little things, and it´s a good sign that they thrive in a tank, it points to decent water conditions.

I have noticed a couple of these tiny round bugs too. They are very fast! Im glad to hear that its a good sign.
