I am curious as to how you all set your temperatures for hatchlings to juveniles. My first few clutches, I raised in a 55 F basement with great survival rates. The only issue was how SLOW they grew! The low temperatures caused them to grow about twice the time they should.
I got tired of this and began to move temperatures warmer, to 70 F. When I did this, all the babies would slowly die after reaching 1.5" because of white fungus. It spread so fast, and I think the warmth was what helped it grow.
Where is your success, temperature-wise?
