What species is??

That looks like an Eastern Tiger Salamander to me, Ambystoma tigrinum. Also, the poor guy appears to be in the completely wrong set-up.

Whatever he is he's definately in the wrong setup, whoever has it you should let know. It'll drown in that much water eventually.

Opsss...

This species is Ambystoma tigrinum utahensis ??

The morphotype yellow/black is veryyy beautiful!! But its not exists here...

That's an Ambystoma mavortium of some kind, most likely A. t. diaboli.

After doing a little more research I'd have to agree with Nate,Ambystoma mavortium diaboli. If you still have contact with the messenger, let them know that Tigers need to be in a fully terrestrial set-up, not in an aquatic set-up as the photo seems to portray.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
