That would be a Spanish Ribbed newt, Pleurodeles waltl.

I will further add that they are an excellent newt to keep. They are always captive bred; not picky eaters (they eat anything!); and one of the more "human-friendly" newts out there. I have four that swim right up to me and eat earthworms right out of my fingers.
