What species are these?

Could any one tell me which species of ribbed newts these are please? I've had both of them for around 6 months and they've grown alot!
Also if anyone could tell me which gender they are that would be brilliant!

They are bottomless pits so you might want to cut back on the feeding.

I can't tell what sex the first photo is - I'm going to guess at young male. Photo two is a definite male.

They'd just been fed when i took the photos and they seem to swell up for a while afterwards, not sure why that is.
