Yeah, I though putting plants in the tank might make it look better.
So what types of plants are safe to put in with axies?
I live in NZ so I might be limited to some of the plants from overseas.

Are Hygrophila polysperma and Ceratopteris thalictroides good plants to use?

There's really no "bad" plant to put in an axolotl's tank. It's mainly finding some that can tolerate the same requirements as axolotls. Java moss, elodea, java fern, all make great additions.

Cool! Thanks. Do you have any tips for planting in sand?
I know that sometimes you get metal rings around plants to make them sink. Would that work in an axie tank?

I think that u could plant :

-Vallisneria Gigantea,Spiralis
-Hygrophila Polisperma
-Hygrophila corymbosa
-Egeria Densa
-Ceratophyllum Demersum
-Anubias
-Vesicularia dubyana
-Cabomba carolina!

To add to the list, the aponogeton in my axie tank has really taken off. It's probably the fastest growing plant I've seen!
