What is the newt you enjoy the most keeping?

I was planing to make a paludarium and I wanted to knwo what newt ( that lives about 50% water 50% land) you enjoy more keeping and wy? some photos would be great

Well the only newt I have had was a C. Pyrrhogaster and I enjoyed keeping it. It was really cool looking and pretty easy to care for.

I like keeping my T. verrucosus best, but I really also enjoy my P. waltls and T. granulosas a lot too. I guess the bigger they are, the more fun, I think, to me.

I'm with Dawn on this P.Waltl are great, I also like Cynops orientalis.

the only newts I have are cynops orientalis and I like them because they're attractive quite fun to watch and just make me smile.

Ok I have to throw Notophthalmus viridescens into the mix. They'll use both portions and are some greedy little monsters when feeding time rolls around.

For a 50/50 setup my vote would probably be for Tylototriton kweichowensis. They are large, colorful, and have very outgoing personalities overall.

Only have a C. orientalis, but thus far I really enjoy him. Probably going to get a second one soon.

I haven't had that many species for very long to have a wide range opinion. WIth that being said I will throw my two cents in. I really enjoy Triturus Dobrogicus. They are active and very entertaining.
I also have T. Kweichows but have not owned them long enough to say, they are beautiful and from what I have heard have personalities when tame.
