Almost ran this one over in my car last night, and I felt terrible leaving it in the middle of the road in the city to get squashed, so I rescued it. When I got it home, I first thought it was some kind of toad but now in the light it's looking more froggy to me. I had some tree frogs when I was 10 and really don't know anything about them! If anyone can tell me what this one might be, so I know where to either set it free, or how to care for it, please let me know! It's 3 inches long and loves to burrow in the mud- just a guess, it's in a large bucket with some pretty wet soil (my worm factory for my axolotl!) and has been burrying itself rather than sit on top with some leafy cover I provided. I live in South Australia, if that helps any... as you can tell, I'm woefully unprepared for this, but I just couldn't leave it on the road!!!
