i have 2 firebelly newts in 20 gal aquarium. there are no plants yet... i'm still trying to get an idea of what to use. anyway i have had these guys in the tank for about 3 months and they don't seem to go after anything i put in. every once in a while they look like they are going after something in the air but i don't see what it is. all i see is there mouth open and close really quick. there food usually sits in the bottom of the tank. they did spend a lot of time out of the water until i put a fan over there resting ariea... now they get wet and then return to dry off. regulating temp? there not super active either if u sit there and stare at them u don't see a lot of action, but if u just kind look over once in a while u catch some interesting events. what are they eating and why do they look so healthy? i'm not knocking it, but i wanna know how to improve there situation. after all i am suppose to be there care taker.
