I currently have a 60l tank, which came with a stingray filter. There is a lot of water movement and my axolotls gills are slightly forward. My filter is pointing against the side of the glass and has no high/ low setting?

Can anyone recommend a good low filter to keep 'Charlie' happy?

The other problem with those fully-submersible filters is that they often heat the water a lot. It's a good idea to change it. I would suggest either a small waterfall filter or a box filter. Descriptions here:

With the waterfall filter, you will still need to find a way to break the flow somewhat.

Hi, i have a stingray filter in my fish tank, like you say it does move the water a lot & the flow isnt adjustable, fortunately my fish like that.

I use a fluval filter in my axie tank, it has a spray bar and an adjustable flow which seems to be working really well, its also nice & quiet too.
