Okay so I think I know what the readings are, but there was some disagreement among my family, so I would like a opinion from someone more experieced than me. What do you think the readings are? I was thinking .25-.50 ammonia, 0 nitrite, 0 nitrate. I had to replace my fiter cartridge because it was falling apart, so now i think I'm going through a mini cycle.

Hey Will!

Those are great test kits (I have the exact same ones :D) I would say that everything looks great, 0.0 across the board.
I dont think changing the filter will be enough to send your tank into a mini cycle, all the bacteria needed to break these chemicals down are still in your tank. It may require some more attention but nothing major

If it was .25 - .50 of ammonia you would see a hint of green and I see all yellow.

The problem is that it can't be all zeros. It's not like this tank has no waste in it at all. There has to be something.

i'd have to say zeros for everything too. if your uncomfortable with those readouts try again tomorrow to see what it says. and just keep an eye out. or if you REALLY dont trust your kits, buy new ones, but in my opinion those kits are quite reliable, i use the same ones as well.

True, but ammonia and Nritrite are at 0.0 which means that waste is being broken down correctly. I do agreed that Nritrate should have a reading of 20 or so. You know that toxic levels are not there which is the good part though. Just keep an eye on it, like I said if the tank was stable before then changing the filter will not cause that much of a problem.
