What could I keep in a 2 gl or 5 gl tank?

I used to keep baby red eyes and adult red eye tree frogs in those two tanks on my nightstand. I miss having something earthy smelling in my room. Red eyes were a pain to keep fed - the tiny crickets - anyone else got an idea for a newt or sal type critter that would be happy living in something that small? Both tanks/vivs hold water. I'm thinking of something thats happy eating frozen food or canned fruit flies.

Hmm, right offhand I'd say that most really small sals are exactly the ones that need live food the most. If there is sun available, you might want to consider a just-plants viv.

lol no sun.. my room is a total cave.. all live food eh? hhhhmmmmm..... what kind of live food though?? Live black worms are easier to keep than those TINY crickets...
