What color will odd ball be?

Hi everyone!

So in our previous post we thought one of our seven hatchlings was eyelets but "he" does have eyes but there doesn't appear to be any pink tinge to them as well as his gills. Is this what a golden albino or albino hatching looks like? He is completely see through and the parents are leucistic and GFP wildtype.

This is our first time raising hatchlings so we are unsure of how the color process works and how long it takes for their actual color to come in.

They're born with their 'actual color', but it's sometimes hard to determine until they get bigger. It's usually pretty obvious once they start getting their back legs.

Well it's definitely an albino with those eye but not a golden albino. It looks like a white albino but those small dark spots on the head are really unusual. I'm not sure what to make of it so please post more photos as it grows up. Maybe the GFP genetics from one of it's parents are throwing out some weird colours?

I would say he is an albino that has come from a dark egg.

The spots do look interesting though.

Thanks! We went with an L Word theme for the 7 hatchlings and since "she" is the only albino we thought Peaches as in Peaches the band and color wise was fitting
