I have heard of a product called weldbond concrete sealer that 'those folks who keep dart frogs' use to seal artificial but natural environments such as river beds that they have created with foam insulation (comes in a can). Now I am curious- has anybody tried to use this (foam insulation and weldbond) to create underwater structural features for their newt tanks. It is supposed to be completely inert when dried, but i still have some concerns. First off- dart frogs do not live in the water as newts would, so the concern for poisoning with newts and the ability of this stuff to leach into the water would be greater if it is completely submerged. But still I would like to know if others may have used this product, or heard of this product and may know how safe it is.
