weird illness or condition. please name

My streamside salamander metamorphs are going through a horrible time. two have died and before they died it looked like popcorn was popping inside them. my other metamorphs from different locations are starting to not eat and im getting worried. all of the salamander are housed seperate and they are all fed 1 inch of earthworm a day.
