Hi. I have a golden axolotl who I have recently discovered is growing some weird extra bits on his body. He is pretty happy and it does not appear to bother him. When I first got him at the aquarium, he had one just under his leg which I assumed was a skin tag and would heal, but it never did. Then I noticed another one underneath his eye, which I assumed I had just missed. Today, I noticed another one under his arm and am pretty confident he never had it before which means he is growing them for whatever reason. They almost look like the formation of extra tiny legs. I have attached photos of the axolotl, circled the area, and drawn what it looks like on the side in case the photos are not clear enough. Again, it does not appear to bother him at all (always eating very happily). I have another leucistic axolotl who is housed with him, but she has no problems, though I did purchase them at different days. Any idea what it is? Thank you in advance. :)

Hi. Yes it turned out to be the horrid anchor worms. The axolotl came with it from the aquarium store I bought him from. I ended up purchasing dimilin powder online and treated for a few weeks and everything has cleared up. :) He is very happy now.
