Hi,

your water quality sounds good. :D
You can get rid of the chlorine, when you let the tap water flow with hard strong? water jet into the tank or you let the water stay in bottle for 2 days in your house, before you put it into your tank. ( I hope you understand what I mean:rolleyes:)

To elaborate on Tina's comment: Chlorine evaporates from tap water. If you let it stand in a bucket for a couple of days, most of the chlorine will evaporate.

However, if your water company uses CHLORAMINE (not chlorine), you'll need a chemical dechlorinator.

Using a dechlorinator on chlorine-treated water will not hurt anything, and will eliminate the need to let the water age.
