So i just tested the axie water [first time]
aaand it said;
NO3 (mg/l) - between 10-25
NO2 (mg/l) - 0
PH - between 6.8 - 7.2

if im not mistaking, the nitrate [No3] is too high?

i tried reading this -> Caudata Culture Articles - Cycling
but im not sure if i understood it correctly..
So! can someone tell me what i should o to get the right numbers? :)

I cant help you but id be interested in someone's help too as i cant get my head round all this cycling and nitrate stuff

Cycling, quick and easy:

Grow bacteria. These bacteria eat ammonia (0ppm). Grow different bacteria; these bacteria eat nitrites (0ppm). Do water changes; these water changes keep nitrates under 40ppm.

While you're cycling (if you have animals in the tank), do your water changes to keep everything as low as possible to keep from killing them. You may have to do 3 water changes a week.

Do i have to put something in the water that im cycling though, or just treated tap water and a filter?

I need to start cycling my 3 foot tank soon and dont know how

I got told to use some of the old filter media and to put it in the new filter, to help the cycle and to start the cycle put a bit fish food in to the tank daily till the levels start to go up and then just monitor them till they start to go down and wait for them to go down to the appropriate level. But be careful of spikes as you may think the tanks levels are right, so when you get good levels keep an eye on them for a few extra days just in case they spike.
Also I was given this link to help me when I have to do mine:
4 Ways To Cycle A Freshwater Aquarium | Aquariums Life
(I don't have my tank yet :( but will be getting it on the 8th so I will be doing the cycle then)
I hope this helps.
