Water testing help!

I just got two newts yesterday and they seem to be doing very well (and i LOVE them!) I have ammonia and nitrite testing kits, but i lost the information on HOW to test. Can someone PLEASE give me some info on HOW to test the water for ammonia and nitrite? Thanks a bunch!

There are many different kinds and brands of test kits. They all have different instructions. We do not even know what country you are in.

If you can post a picture of your kit, someone may have the same kind and be able to help. Or you could go to the pet shop and jot down the instructions from a kit on the shelf.
