I'm slowly adding more real plants to my axolotl tank, and I think water lilies might be a good option! Has anyone done water lilies in an axolotl tank? If so, what kind do you have/ what kind would you suggest? It would probably get around 2 hours of direct sunlight and maybe a few more of indirect depending on where I place it in the tank exactly. Thanks!

Dwarf water lilies, or real deal pond water lilies? Both appreciate decent lighting. Because of the shade their leaves provide, it could be doable for an axie tank. Water sprite may be a good option of you want broad leaved surface plants!
