Water changes for eggs?

Hey, everyone. My female laid some eggs, and this is a new experience for me. I have the eggs in a container separated from the mother. They were laid about 6 days ago. Are you supposed to do do regular water changes for the eggs like you do for the hatchings? Just asking because the jelly seems to be making a mess in their container, and I want to make sure they develop properly.

Eggs don't need a water change. What do you mean by the jelly making a mess? Eggs shouldn't shed anything.

Okay, thank you! Not in the sense of shedding, just the sense of the water not being clear because of it. Which I suppose is normal, but I wanted to make sure that the water is appropriate for when the hatch.
