Well Petco is having there $1 a gallon sale so the axie babies are getting a 20 gallon , My question is they have only been home for 11 days ... Is next week too soon to upgrade?

Please before you say anything , the 20 gallon is as big as I can go right now, I do have a 40 long in storage I plan to set up as soon as I move but the 20 gallon will have to do for now.

should I let the tank age and let them settle in more before I move them again?

Too soon to upgrade from what? I'm guessing you mean into the 20gal long?

It's never too soon to give them a bigger home :) Are they currently in a cycled tank? If you move them in, just be sure to keep a close eye on water parameters, and do large enough water changes to keep ammonia <1ppm, nitrite <1ppm, and nitrates <40ppm while the new one cycles :)

well their filter, hides etc will be moved with them so all that beneficial bacteria will be moving to the new tank with them :) the worst that will happen is a mini cycle. This is a fully cycled tank.

Good :) Although beneficial bacteria mostly grow on surfaces there will be a little in the water column, so I would suggest using their water, too, even if it only helps a little bit, every little bit counts!

If I can I will :) Or I can keep it in there and just move my betta over :p He is inheriting the 10 gallon lol
