Viele ROTE / Many RED Salamandra s. terrestris

I live in northern Black Forest and have found 6 adult RED S.s.t about 30 min. by car aloof from home.All of them were at least 15 cm ( 6 " ) long.
Fan-tas-tic ! ;-)

I will not mention the exact place where I found them,to make sure they won´t be caught.
Actually,is there any publications about red ones in the wild ?

Ich wohne hier im nördlichen Schwarzwald und habe ca.30 Autominuten entfernt von zuhause in einem Gebiet 6 adulte ROTE S.s.terrestris gefunden.Alle Tiere mindestens 15 cm groß!

Fan-tas-tisch !



Den genauen Fundort möchte ich nicht nennen,damit keine weggefangen werden.
Gibt es eigentlich Publikationen darüber,wo vermehrt rote Feuersalamander auftreten ?

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
