video of mudpuppy swimming is this ok?

seems to me like she is stressed, unless she goes crazy when you come by to feed(although you have said befor that she dosnt)

She must be then, I'll install AC tomarrow hopefully that will help.

As long as she's acting that way, I'd suggest turning off the light and minimizing room noise.

The light shuts off at 6, 8 minutes from now and no one is down there so I'll let you guys know tomorrow how she is acting.

better... for now

This morning she is under her normal rock acting normal. I'm gonna clean the tanak today so maybe she was stressed by bad water quality or something, I'll post agian if she starts up again.

i've got 3 that i caught near my house, when the oxegen level was lower in my 55 gallon the three acted like your's. i added an air stone and they settled down, these guy's are just guest until i can put them back i just wanted to see if i could keep them....i know i should not have but there are a lot of crawfish in that pond this year so i was just giving them a chance to get bigger

Jody, what general area did you catch the mudpuppies? Necturus maculosus (the common mudpuppy I have) lives a little east of you, so it might not be N. maculosus. If you caught it in Texas to the west of you they may actually be Necturus beyeri (Gulf Coast Waterdogs) which is another species of mudpuppy. Could you post pictures along with were you caught them so I can figure out what species you really have?
