Hubby and two of my male larvae have spent the evening glued to the tv / radio ( depending on weather one has misbehaved ) it seems that the said team ( Bristol City) are through to some promotion play offs. Whilst i am happy to see the the male bonding thing,I do begrudge my tv schedules being interfered with !!!! . Hubby is now torn to between being really chuffed and then worried about how on earth he can afford to take himself plus two cherubs to support his team if they get promoted :eek:. I think I may take up knitting jumpers for axolotl.:p

Ahh, that explains why people are driving around honking their horns.

The English Language

>>Re Dawn's:
>>Very off topic!! Bristol City
>>Talk about a language barrier; I only understood about 30% of that!

1. The Americans and the British ... two peoples separated by a common language!

2. What is a Canadian? That's the person between the American and the Brit ... interpreting.

3. In the English language, the same word means different things to different english-speaking peoples. Take the word 'football' for instance.
If you say 'football' to your American friends, they visualise a game with an oblong ball, battled over by two groups of heavily armoured men engaged in bone-crushing tackles.
If you say 'football' to your British friends, they visualise a game with a round ball, battled over by two groups of nearly naked men trying to avoid being involved in bone-crushing tackles.
If you say 'football' to your Australian friends, they visualise a battle between two groups of nearly naked men happily engaged in bone-crushing tackles. And if there is a ball on the field, it does not seem to detract from the game!

Cheers and respects all;

Wes
No football, only hockey!

    Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
