UPDATE: suggestions for a new set up

Good news every body, the terrestial newt finally decided that the water isnt so bad after all! s/he ate a little bit, and isnt hiding so much anymore!!
Im sooooo happy, i will complete their new home soon and then they will have more water, i think they will be much more happy too

Good to hear everything worked out. I was having the same problem, and my newt finally ate too. Hurray for us. Happy Holidays.
