just thought it was about time i updated you all with pics of my axies theyre a bit bigger now and although theyre eating brine ship in the pics they are also on tubifex and bloodworm and even starting beefheart now
you cant tell size from the pics but they are around 2" to 3" in length and really looking like minature adults now, we cant get over how quick they've grown and we still have 19!!!! so looks like i may be able to help out anyone in neeed of one or two as we wernt expecting to end up with so many from the eggs we got !!!
anyway hope you like the pics

yeah that is their intestines and i think if any are showing it the red splodge is their heart

they have grown since these pics so i will take some more soon for you all :)

they are so cute, I love their little legs:D

I would love to have a couple to raise, would you be interested in posting them

unfortunately due to how delicate they are i wouldnt like to risk them in the post as they could so easily damage limbs etc, (i dont think anyone on here would recommend it other than at egg stage)
but i'm sure if i ask hubby once they are a little bigger and weaned onto solids (aka beef heart etc) not just tubifex and bloodworm them you would be more than welcome to come here and collect a few in person :)

Posting is fine as long as you package them correctly and follow the instructions from the post office for posting live animals.

Many members of this forum post animals nationally. Internationally shipping animals causes problems because of exportation regulations.

Also you may wish to consider solid foods like earthworms instead of beef heart which isn't a natural food for axies in the wild!
