Question: Unsure of type of salamander

before i got speckles she was passed owner to owner and the last people weren't sure what kind she was (or if its even a girl they got it for their little daughter but she quickly lost interest once i told them you arent really suppose to hold them)

It looks like a tiger salamander to me!

That's an Eastern tiger salamander (Ambystoma tigrinum). You can find a caresheet for them here.
