Hello,
I am a first time axolotl owner, so i'm hoping that somebody here has experience with what i'm seeing. Over the last couple months, two of my axolotl's gills have appeared to shrink and lose some of the frills. I understand that axolotl gills change depending on the oxygen content in the water, but it seems strange that only 2 of 6 gills are showing signs of changing. Please see the attached pictures, pic 1 is from two months ago and pics 2a and 2b are from last week.
