Uh oh... more eggs...

Hi guys,

So last night my axo was swimming around like crazy, and alas she was getting ready to lay eggs!

She started laying last night, and this morning is still going strong. However I can't keep the eggs as I am raising her last babies at the moment.

I am wanting some advice on my next action, as I am thinking of selling the male in the tank. I dont want to have to continue to discard eggs, and I also dont want my female to lay, as it seems to stress her out quite considerably!

I just feel bad selling the male, as we bought him because he was mistreated an wanted to give him a good home. I wasnt actually sure of his sex when I purchased him.

I will load photos of my Axo laying soon, as I got some awesome pictures!

why dont you just seperate them in two tanks ?
that way you couldt even get two axies more if you play your cards right.

I would do that, but I really dont have any space for another tank set up at the moment!

You can also buy (or make) a tank divider and set your tank into two.
