Two larvae in one egg?

Is this normal? both are developing just fine. I plan to sell them after they hatch and are old enough.

Perfectly normal.
And please don't hold eggs in your palm like that - it heats them up to your body temp very quickly and can kill the larvae before they hatch.

On a related note, do "multiples" in the same egg have reduce viability or anything?

Last-weeks spawning (her first) has several multiples, some with 5 and even 1 with 6. (I am almost positive they are all in the same inner egg membrane, whatever it is technically called.) If this batch is fertile, I will sell more of it, but I'll hold back the multiples if they are less likely to produce viable hatchlings.
