Today I checked on some juvenile axolotls I raised and I noticed two were dead. One was white, bloated, and floating upside down. The other was floating upside down but completely unresponsive. The third one was also floating but is still alive.
The batch of eggs we got them from had trouble. All the babies but 4 died. The fourth sibling unfortunately passed away, we're not sure why. These guys were perfectly healthy the day before, we planned on keeping them. We noticed one was pale but after feeding he quickly recovered. But other than that, they seemed perfectly healthy. Nothing was wrong. The water quality was fine, too. We've never had a problem with our axies, this was the only batch that has given us trouble. What should we do for the sick one? I'm not sure what's wrong with him, he seems to be weak though. Possibly bloated at his cloaca.
