Twins or chimeric..time shall tell :-)

Could this be more than just twins..Could it be the start of a chimeric??

It's twins! A chimaera appears as one egg as it is fused at fetilisation.
 
Oh really :) still tho twins is exciting..is it strange that they are hooked or is it that they are just super close and touching
 
Yeah looks like they are touching - they will separate as they grow and start to look axolotl shaped.

Be aware though, they may not be ready to hatch at the same time. One twin will hatch and the other may exit the egg and appear to be underdeveloped and possibly dead. Don't discard the 2nd twin, it may well survive if you quarantine it and let it develop on it's own. A fair few of my twins/multiples turned out that way, some survived, some didn't.
But they look really cute doing the yin/yang thing inside the egg!
 
They are always close. Sometimes one egg can fail, had that in my last batch. Here's my current twin:
 
Thank you for all your help will definitely keep a close eye on the little guys..I can't wait to take pictures of them ying yanged together
