I meant "What are these?" -

Hi,

So I've tried posting on a fish forum but I'm having problems uploading the pictures. So does anyone on here have an idea?

Found these on my fish tank. Do you think they could be snail eggs?

I keep black neon tetras, corydoras and one otocinclus catfish. There's also some strange brown worms in the corner. I think they're worms anyway! Maybe brown planaria?
Best photos I could get from my rubbish camera.

Those appear to be corydoras eggs. Mine breed regularly, producing similar eggs in size and appearance to yours, usually stuck onto the glass or th side of my filter.

Do not be surprised if they disappear as quickly as they appeared. Corydoras commonly eat their own eggs, and your tetras will also probably like to snack on them.

You are right in that the brown worms probably are planarian, and are largely harmless in your tank.

i would say cory eggs but with the green hue they may also be oto eggs.

otos lay lime green eggs so if they are white/clear they are cory eggs

Thanks :D

I've only just got the Cory's so I wasn't expecting that. I don't want anymore so I was going to leave them to be eaten anyway. Some have already gone, there's an outline where an egg once was.

I'd say they're definitely corydora eggs.

My bronze corydora laid a lot of eggs & I read up how to raise them so popped them in another little heated tank with air & about 60 hatched - heater catastrophe & ended up with 10.
I then discovered my other tank had tiny baby bristlenoses in it so I put the surviving corydora babies in that tank -
1 got nommed before my eyes (& Minniechild's eyes  ) by a glolight terra
-I've since seen 2 of the corydora babies amongst the tank gravel  so I'm hoping they can survive. :)

Aww poor babies! You might have a survivor in there Nikki.

The Cory's are eating the eggs like Jane said.

There was 47 eggs in there this morning. They must be happy in their new home lol.

Dear All, I would appreciate some help identifying P. waltl disease and treatment. We received newts from Europe early November and a few maybe 3/70 had what it looked like lesions under the legs- at that time we thought maybe it was the stress of travel- now we think they probably had "red leg syndrome" (see picture). However a few weeks later other newts started to develop skin lesions (picture enclosed). The sender recommended to use sulfamerazine and we have treated them 2x and we are not sure they are all recovering. Does anyone have any experience with P. waltl diseases and could give some input on this? Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.
