Triturus Dobrogicus three fingers on one hand

I just noticed this morning that one of my Triturus Dobrogicus morphs only has 3 fingers on one hand. Now it doesnt apear as if there is any damage to the tissue just that theres only 3 fingers mayb he was born this way or its a genetic defect, the other hand has 4. Im wonderin if this could just be a genetic defect or if I should be worried? Any insight would be helpfull.

He may have lost it as a larva by hungry tank mates...it'll probably grow back. I wouldn't worry if he otherwise looks good and is eating.
