Question: Tricky Ph

Hi. I just tested my pH levels in my tank and I have an API freshwater master test kit.
The normal pH test was 7.6, but the high range pH test was 7.4, so, what's my pH level?

Either way a 7.6 or a 7.4 is an acceptable ph.

Hard to say, but you are undoubtedly right around 7.5. The test kits aren't ultra-accurate. The important thing is to know what the pH is with one particular test kit and watch for changes over time.
