Treating Gastric Overload?

My newt has been bloated a couple of days and resently while looking up information I read about a condition called "gastric overload" apperently caused by eating too many crickets and having the exoskeletons build up. My newt resently started eating more crickets and only has a bloated stomach (not legs, tail, etc). I can't find any treatment methods for it though, can it be treated with some sort of laxitive (vegitables?), will it go away by it's self if I do not feed my newt, or is it untreatable? Please help.
